The members portion of this site has been up and running successfully
since May 1, 2002. We strive to provide our paying members with as many
benefits as possible including discounts from major retailers of herp related
products to top quality turtles from Empire of the Turtle and other dealers. As
well as the benefits listed below, you will be gain access to two of the three
Premier Members forums including “Premier Members Forum” and either “The Pub”
(for over18’s) or “Turtle Teens” (for under 18’s). Although these forums are
casual in form they are also the place where we often ask for your input in
relation to the forum. We value your opinion and may trial ideas on you. You
will be first “in the know” about upcoming ideas, competitions and changes.

Those visitors that do not become official
members will see nothing different. They WILL NOT be left out. Everything will
remain as it is with only the members seeing additional items as listed above.
The benefits listed above are already set in stone,
and any other benefits we can offer in the future will be added at no charge
once your original membership is instated. The current membership price is an
annual fee of $35. Feel free to contact me for further details and to answer any
questions you might have. Once you become a member, you will create a username
and password that you will use, along with your email address and full name, to
utilize these discounts.
Technicalities (You knew there had to be some)...
Members only chats will NOT replace the regular
(or irregular) chats that we have. They will be special chats that will allow
the staff and members to get together to discuss certain issues.
But what does the money go towards? We
pay out of our own pockets’ to keep ATP and TF.com ad-free and to be
dot-com. Your membership fees help reduce that financial burden. The funds are
also used to make other aspects of our community free such as chats and other online functions
as well as upgrades to behind-the-scenes technical aspects (server upgrades). Lastly, the funds will be used to purchase
prizes and offset prices on items that will be given away/sold through our
websites.
That's all of the technical stuff right now. Other
stipulations may pop up occasionally but we'll be sure to announce it when they
