75 Gallon Glass Aquarium.

Filtraton: Eheim Pro II 2028 external canister filter.

Substrate: None (Bare-bottom ). Structure: Synthetic resin log (white, on the left), natural driftwood (hardly visible here), live Anacharis strands, and hanging silk plants on the rear tank wall (with a few small plastic plants suction cupped amongst them, to add a lush look).

Basking Platform: Cork Bark (right rear).

Lighting: Compact SeaLife brand Power Compact Fluorescent hood with 96 watt bulb. For basking, clamp lamp with a mercury vapor bulb (UV-B + heat).

Special Notes: The cherry wood stand is expensive but attractive. I removed the tank top canopy to improve access. A Mississippi Mud Turtle lived here, but the tank would be appropriate for most any North American mud, Red-cheeked or White-lipped mud, or Spotted Turtle.
