Snapping Turtles
Section
2.1.5 - Spear, gig, trap, or fyke net may be used to take snapping turtles
4.15.1 - Snapper Season - unlawful to hunt snapping turtles except between June 15th thru May 15th
4.15.2 - Size - unlawful to seel, offer for sale, or kill a snapping turtle with carapace length less that 8 inches measured on the curvature

DBTs
4.16.1 - Season - unlawful to hunt DBTs except between September 1st thru November 15th
4.16.2 - Limit - unlawful to taken more than 4 DBTs in any one day

General Removal & Possession
15.1.1 - Unlawful to collect, possess, import, cause to be imported, export, cause to be exported, buy, sell, or offer for sale any native wildlife for commercial purposes without a permit
15.2.1 - Unlawful to remove from the wild or possess any native reptile, their eggs, or parts without a permit
15.2.2 - One individual of the following species may be collected and possessed without a permit - DBT, Eastern Box Turtle, Eastern mud, painted, redbelly, snapping turtles
15.2.3 - Unlawful to remove from the wild and later release a turtle if it is heald in captivity for more than 30 days
15.2.4 - Native reptiles taken from the wild and lawfully possessed before 8/15/99 may continue to be in captivity with the written notification of numbers and species given to the Division before 12/15/99
15.3.1 - Unlawful to breed in captivity any native wildlife without a permit
15.3.2 - Unlawful to release a captive born reptile into the wild
15.5.1 - Turtles can only be taken by hand, turtle trap, or dowel-and-line. Traps must be emptied every 48 hours
16.1.1 - Importation, transportation, possession or sale of endangered species is prohibited
Note: Bog turtles are endangered in Delaware
16.3.2 - Unlawful to collect, possess, or sell any species listed as endangered or threatened without federal permits.
